Suspension fertiliser blend

Uptake’s Suspension Fertiliser is blended specifically for you, your soil, stock and farm. Suspension is designed to shift nutrients from the soil to plants and animals, essential for animal production, health, growth and condition.

Pasture

Dairy, beef, sheep, deer, equine, goats, new grass, hay and silage

Crop

Brassica, wheat, barley, oats, maize, corn

Horticulture

Grapes, pip fruit, stone fruit, kiwifruit, citrus

Ingredients may include

Calcium
Manganese
Iodine
Natural Seaweed
Nitrogen
Phosphate
Potassium
Sulphur
Magnesium
Sodium

We only use high-quality chelated trace elements, as they assimilate and translocate in plants more readily. A balanced blend of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Sulphur (S), trace elements, natural seaweed and humates ensures the best possible result.

Manufacture

Suspension fertiliser is blended based on your farm’s soil analysis results in specific ratios and is designed to shift fix deficiencies and shift nutrients from the soil to plants and animals. The blend is completely unique to your farm only.

Application

The secret of Uptake Suspension Fertiliser is the way it is mixed and applied on the farm. Fertiliser is mixed into a suspension and boomed sprayed by either aircraft, helicopter or truck based applicators.

This allows the spreading of each needed nutrient, no matter how small the quantity, to cover each square metre of the farm. The ultra fine particle size of the nutrients in suspension penetrates into the soil profile, fast and evenly. The nutrients are readily available to the pasture plants and thus easily transferred to the animal.

The improved efficiency and evenness in the spread of fertiliser over the farm is dramatic. Every plant in the pasture receives its own direct share of the fertiliser application.

The end result is significant cost savings.

Foliar fertiliser blend

Uptake’s Foliar Fertiliser is a pre-made balanced blend of natural seaweed and humates designed to activate and stimulate soil life and food web activity. It is the direct plant feeder that can be sprayed onto pasture in true ‘Do It Yourself’ style.

We only use high-quality chelated trace elements, as they assimilate and translocate in plants more readily. A balanced blend of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Sulphur (S), trace elements, natural seaweed and humates ensures the best possible result.

Manufacture

Foliar fertiliser is carefully prepared and processed in the Uptake factory, ready for application. Using high-quality chelated trace elements, natural seaweed humates ensure the best possible result.

Application

Uptake Foliar Fertiliser is the direct plant feeder that can be sprayed onto pasture in true ‘Do It Yourself’ style or mixed in with other spray programmes.

It delivers nutrients in a cost effective powerful and immediate way.

Uptake Foliar enhances existing granular fertiliser applications, increases biological activity and releases nutrients.

It is environmentally friendly and ideal for dairy situations. Especially for farm situations where the farmer has run out of time, Uptake Foliar can extend the pasture growth season.

For healthy pasture growth you need 13 elements and a further 3 for animal health. Generally farmers only apply nitrogen, phosphate, sulphur and potassium. Over application of those kinds of minerals can do a lot of damage. Liming is important to manage soil acidity, this impacts pasture growth and animal health.

Simple pasture growth

Uptake Suspension Fertiliser is a finely crushed fertiliser that is applied using spray booms in precise, even and accurate amounts. The result is every sward of grass has a better chance of gaining the nutrients the fertiliser is shifting from the soil.

In the manufacturing of Uptake Foliar Fertiliser we only use high quality chelated trace elements as they assimilate and translocate in the plant more readily. A balanced blend of NPK, trace elements, natural seaweed and humates ensure the best possible result.

Correct nutrient ratios

The ratios of soil nutrients present and your farm's individual pasture and animal condition.

Farm's fertiliser history

The previous amounts of nutrients that have been applied or are still missing.

Nutrient balancing

The nutrients that seem to be missing or suppressed by the over abundance of other nutrients present (in correct nutrient ratios).

Farming practices

Your farming practices and production goals play a key role.

Benefits

Shift nutrients from the soil to plants and animals. Overall, better grass and animal health leads to better production for less cost.

Increase animal production

Healthy animals

Increase dry matter

Improve plant palatability

Healthy soil

Improve soil aeration

Strong root systems

Increase food web activity

Increase clover growth

Increase soil mineralisation

Improve pasture mineral content

We’re pretty happy with what we’ve achieved. There’s been big improvements made from coming here, with the health of our livestock and farm in general.

John and I had long and involved conversations about what should be in the product to try and mitigate some of the issues we farmers were facing out in the field. It was a relief to find a system that would give you another tool in dealing with some of these issues.

The animal health bill dropped. It’s due to the way we changed how we are treating our stock, right from the grass and what we are putting on it.

Let's talk about the quality of nutrients in your farming soil
